Having recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2014, JDC Corporate Finance is experiencing exciting growth in conjunction with the increase in M&A demand in East Anglia. As part of the expansion of its unique blend of services to a wider client base, JDC has recently appointed a new Director of Business Growth Services and two further qualified accountants to complement the already highly experienced team, led by Jon Dodge.
Chris Adlam has joined JDC as Director of Business Growth Services. Chris has over 18 years’ experience in providing advisory services and leading teams on a wide variety of projects both in the UK and worldwide including; transaction support, cash flow management, independent business reviews, selling businesses and the turnaround and trading of distressed companies.
Chris’ previous role at PWC focused on providing advice and implementing solutions for the stakeholders of businesses throughout the corporate lifecycle, including their investors, management and lenders. He also led the firm’s Bank advisory work in East Anglia.
Chris joins one of the region’s most experienced transaction teams, who together have acted as lead advisers on over 300 company acquisitions and disposals. JDC has also in recent months recruited two additional team members to assist in responding to growing demand for its services, including refinancing, restructuring, acquisitions and the planning and execution of exit strategies for the shareholders of SME companies.
Chris on joining JDC:
“In joining JDC, I am really excited at the opportunity to bring my experience and skills from a “big four” firm to a business that is able to offer its clients expert advice in a hands-on, clear, concise and cost effective manner with the absence of any red tape. JDC is passionate about delivering outstanding results for its clients and I believe this passion along with JDC’s specialist knowledge sets us apart from the competition and will enable us to extend our reach as the leading corporate finance “boutique” in the region.”
Jon commenting on the appointments:
“I am delighted to welcome Chris, Lyndsey and Ryan to the JDC team. We are proud of our work over the last ten years, as the leading independent corporate finance boutique in the region, but these appointments, together with the appointment in 2014 of Dave Howes as Corporate Finance Director, will enable us to take a further significant step forward in fulfilling our own ambition to become the adviser of choice for corporate finance services in East Anglia and further the extending range of specialist services that we offer.”
